If you love Young Thai Coconuts but hate opening them, Coco Jack is for you. An orchestra conductor named Dave Goodman invented the Coco Jack kit which comes with a mallet and a striking ring. It sounds simple but Goodman created close to 100 different prototypes along the way. His latest inventions including Coco Scoop (to get the coconut meat out), the Noodler Tool (to make coco-noodles), and Coco Sipper to slurp it right up.

Sure there are other coconut tools on the market but using the Coco Jack – knocking on a coconut with a mallet – is fun and it really works. Plus, the tools and the packaging are beautifully designed. Coco Jack was pitched on Shark Tank. New episodes of Shark Tank air Fridays on ABC. (check local listings for time)
