On an upcoming episode of ‘blackish’ (February 18, 9:30, ABC), Zoey (Yara Shahidi) brings home her first “serious” boyfriend which of course has her father, Andre (Anthony Anderson), on edge. Turns out Andre the boyfriend–yup, same name–is a worldly white boy from France.
Julian de la Celle is the 19-year-old who plays Andre du Maurier. With his TV experience, he handles the role with aplomb. de la Celle has had reoccurring roles on The Fosters (Zac), Heroes (Young Samuel), and Ugly Betty (Daniel Jr. aka DJ).
