Actor Michael Mando plays Nacho Varga on Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad prequel. Nacho is a calculating, intelligent criminal who has the ear of a terrifying kingpin. Nacho’s ambitions will put him on a collision course with Jimmy McGill (aka Saul Goodman), that might just take them both down.
Mando got his big break in 2013 when he joined the cast of the BBC’s original Orphan Black. Interesting fact about Mando: he was born in Canada and raised by his single dad, a chemist. Mando spent his childhood in Africa (Ivory Coast and Ghana) before returning to Canada as a teenager. Better Call Saul airs Mondays at 10pm on AMC.
