After a three-month hiatus, the CBS hit drama The Good Wife will be back on Sunday, March 1, 2015, 9pm. New episodes will feature the return of some dynamic characters — actors Rachael Harris (Franny, the aide to the mayor of Chicago) and Gary Cole (Kurt McVeigh, Diane Lockhart’s gun-loving husband) will be back.
There will also be some new faces, at least new to The Good Wife. Veteran actor Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) will appear, as will Oliver Platt (The Big C, Fargo). Platt landed a reoccurring role as R.D., who’s described as “a conservative businessman with a passion for hunting.” The title of the first episode is ‘Dark Money. ‘
