On NCIS: New Orleans, Special Agent Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black) recently tracked down his estranged brother, Cade. After welcoming him into his home, Chris is now increasingly concerned for his brother’s welfare. Cade, the big brother, has bipolar disorder.
The fictional characters, the LaSalle brothers, are natives of Alabama. So are the actors. Black is from Decatur, and the actor portraying Cade, Clayne Crawford, is from Clay, Alabama (population 9,711). Viewers might recognize Crawford from his recurring roles on other TV shows: Rectify (Ted Talbot Jr.), Rogue (Danny “Cheat” Chetowski), 24 (Kevin Wade) or the Nicholas Sparks 2002 film A Walk to Remember with Mandy Moore and Shane West.
