Adam O’Rourke, former lead singer and drummer of metal band 2Cents, asks The Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger to help him find love. When asked about his rocker past and how he got out of the business (he’s now into software), O’Rourke throws this idiom at Patti: “boys do what they want to do, men do what they have to.” Patti was quick to voice her approval of that one. O’Rourke goes on to tell her that he’s living a healthier life. Oh, and he’s a Gemini, too, just like Patti.
When Patti suggests that O’Rourke needs a woman who’s more interested in living a healthy lifestyle, O’Rourke responds, “A very wise woman once said, ‘You have to agree on the non-negotiables.'” Yes, he just quoted Patti to Patti. He’s really spreading it on thick. O’Rouke’s non-negotiatbles, btw, are: “you have to want kids, be a forgiving person, be passionate, and have a sense of adventure.” The Millionaire Matchmaker airs Thursdays at 10pm on Bravo.
