Peter Madrigal, manager of SUR and star on Vanderpump Rules, invites newbie Vail Bloom out for a coffee date. So when they meet and Peter orders a bottle of Malbec, Vail is surprised. Peter clearly has love/lust in his eyes. He looks deeply into her eyes which makes Vail very uncomfortable. “We’re definitely not on the same page,” says Vail. She’s tempted to use the old “I’m a lesbian” trick but she says “I’m no longer a lesbian.”

Peter is not deterred by Vail’s quizzical looks. When she asks if he’s ever dated anyone at SUR, Peter admits he dated Stassi and Katie at the same time. “So you were a douchebag,” comes Vail’s assessment. He doesn’t deny it. Vail is perhaps the smartest female on the show. “I’ve got to get to SUR,” she says and leaves Peter. The only problem is that Peter is turned on by rejection.
