Actor Rob Lowe portrays real life millionaire Ben Novack Jr., the heir to the Fountainebleau hotel in Miami Beach, in the Lifetime movie, Beautiful & Twisted (January 31, 8pm). Much to his mother’s (Candice Bergen) chagrin, Novack married a stripper named Narcy (Paz Vega, Spanglish). Their marriage is tense and filled with “fetish and kink.”
When Novack was brutally murdered in a hotel in Rye Brook, NY, in 2009, the police suspected Narcy, and also reexamined the death of Novack’s mother three months earlier. Spoiler alert: Narcy was sentenced to life in prison for orchestrating both murders. Rob Lowe liked the story so much, he’s also an executive producer with Judith Verno who brought us Lizzie Borden Took an Ax and Masters of Sex. This sounds like a combination of both!
