Lizzie Milian is considering converting to Judaism. Her big sister, hip hop star Christian Milian, is worried that her Lizzie doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into. So Christina takes her to an Orthodox Jewish community where all the women cover their hair and bodies and live a very modest life.
On the “Christina Milian Turned Up” reality TV show, Lizzie explains her attraction to the Jewish community like this: “For the first time, something is about me. And I really like it.” Walking the streets of the Jewish community, Lizzie said she feels completely in her element. “Outside of the Jewish community I’m Christina Milian’s little sister, but within it I’m myself.” She says her soul is Jewish, these people are my family already. It’s difficult to ignore the big smile on Lizzie’s face as she walks through the community. Is it spiritual bliss or is she just having fun at her famous sister’s expense?
