On Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney confronts Stassi Schroeder about the “hatred in her heart.” Here’s the deal: Stassi can’t believe Katie is friends with everyone who works at SUR, let alone that she goes on vacation with them. Stassi feels betrayed. But Katie tries to explain that she’s just being cordial. “I can’t make everyone happy,” says Katie. Her number one priority is herself, which makes Stassi break down in tears. It seems like this is the end of their relationship, which would leave Stassi with zero friends.
So why does Stassi hate everyone and everything? Katie’s theory is: “Stassi met an older man and moved to New York for four minutes so now she thinks she lives in this adult world and with that comes condescension to everyone including me.” Can’t really blame Stassi for calling everyone out when they act immature – immature behavior is the crux of the show.
