Doorman is a solution to two big problems related to online shopping– missed deliveries and stolen packages. The next time you order something on Amazon, you can send it to Doorman, who will hold it and then deliver it when you get home. You tell them when. Doorman delivers from 6pm until midnight, 7 days a week.

Doorman co-foudner Zander Adell, Pixar’s former Technical Director, is seeking an investment on Shark Tank on January 9. He has a decent price model: $3.99 per package with a 2-hour delivery window, or customers can subscribe for $19/month with 2-hour delivery windows, or $29/month with 1-hour delivery windows, which includes unlimited package returns. The problem is, Doorman is servicing only one city, San Francisco. Sounds like the perfect bait for a techno-savvy shark like Mark Cuban.
