Ervin’s recent feature documentary is ‘Elephant in the Room.’ It’s about a former, female boxing champion (Devonne) and her business partner coach (Tabbi) who mentor two teenage girls (Emily and Zaneta) at their New Haven gym, The Elephant in the Room Boxing Club. Emotions rise as everyone fights to discover the truth the girls are hiding and expose the elephant in the room. The 59-minute film was Official Selection in the 2013 San Diego Black Film Festival as well as the 2013 Vail Film Festival.
