The US led all watchers of online pornography, accounting for 40% of all 2014 global traffic according to statistics at pornhub.com. What were all these Americans watching? ‘Lesbian’ overtook last year’s #1–‘teen’–as the term most frequently searched by US porn seekers. (‘Lesbian’ had a pretty good year outside of porn circles too–seeing much wider use. President Obama just used it in the State of the Union address.) ‘Lesbian’ was the #1 search in porn for both men and women. (Nielsen ratings indicate one in three adults looking at Internet porn are women.)
Pornhub, which is a conglomeration of myriad adult sites, saw 2.1 million visits every hour throughout 2014. And yet people still complain they don’t have time for the things they need to do! They probably could sneak in more, even with all the watching, if they weren’t so busy opining, too. Porn watchers together posted more than a million comments at pornhub sites. And you might’ve thought they wanted to keep a low profile.
