WWE power couple Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are everywhere these days promoting their two new fitness DVDs. Both feature extensive workouts that can be done in the living room. The daughter of WWE CEO Vince McMahon and US Senate candidate Linda McMahon, Stephanie has proven herself over the years at WWE. She started as a model, then acted in the ring, and now is Chief Brand Officer. But her latest crusade has nothing to do with WWE.
Although she “plays a bad guy on TV,” in real life Stephanie is dedicated to finding a cure for pediatric cancer. She works diligently for ConnorsCure, a charity inspired by WWE superfan Connor “The Crusher” Michalek. When 7-year-old Connor, who suffered from pediatric brain cancer, made a YouTube video asking to meet his favorite wrestler Daniel Bryan, Stephanie made it happen. Michalek got to hang out with Bryan a few times and even walked down the ramp with him as WWE wrestlers chanted Connor’s his name. “Inside the ring, Connor hit Triple H with a punch and pinned him.” A few weeks later, Connor lost his battle with cancer. But Steph McMahon keeps fighting in his name.
