The editor of the website played a game of “Bass or Treble” with the 20-year-old singer to find out what she likes (bass) and doesn’t like (treble). She responded ‘treble’ to pumpkin spice lattes, kale and facial hair on men, and ‘bass’ to Beyonce and Alex From Target.
When asked about 50 Shades of Grey, Trainor said ‘treble’ and added, “I never read it. I don’t read books.” The editor was clearly disappointed with Trainor’s answer and said in a threatening way, “The next time you come to Cosmo, you will have read 50 Shades of Grey.” Maybe Trainor should have gone to college after all.
