Actress Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) had reportedly beat out English model Cara Delevingne for the villainous role of Harley Quinn in David Sayer’s Suicide Squad. Harley is a DC Comics character, the accomplice and girlfriend of Batman’s nemesis the Joker.
Since Robbie’s performance in Martin Scorsese’s Wolf of Wall Street, she has landed leading lady roles in Focus with Will Smith (he plays a grifter who takes her under his wing) and the lead role of Jane in Tarzan with Alexander Skarsgard.
