Jake Miller is the hip-hop/rapper that MTV is pushing in front of your face. With some big time names like Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande, Miller is performing at the MTV EMA on Sunday, November 9. The story is that the 22-year-old from Weston, Florida taught himself to play the drums and guitar at a young age and then put out a few homemade music videos on YouTube. The videos apparently caught the eye of Snoop Dogg because in 2011, Jake opened for Snoop Dogg at a concert at Pompano Beach.
MTV Buzzworthy says “Jake Miller is about to blow up!” And MTV should know, they aired the exclusive music video premiere of Jake’s single “I’m Alright.” He just released his first EP, Spotlight on iTunes. And he does a mean Iggy Azalea impression. Hmm, maybe that’s what caught Snoop Dogg’s attention first.
