Molly Tarlov is best known for playing the popular mean girl Sadie Saxton on MTV’s TV show Awkward. The show is about a teen named Jenna (Ashley Rickards) who struggles with her identity after an accident which is misconstrued by everyone as a suicide attempt. John Kubicek of BuddyTV described Molly’s character Sadie as not “the typical perfect skinny girl” but “an overweight cheerleader who is popular only thanks to her parents.” While we don’t agree with the “overweight” description, Tarlov definitely fills out the emotional complexities of Sadie. Awkward was recently renewed for a fifth and final season. (It airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m.)
On Sunday, November 9, Molly Tarlov will bring her cool confidence to the MTV EMA where she’ll co-host with America’s Got Talent’s very skinny Nick Cannon.
