Actress Danica McKellar (Winner Cooper of The Wonder Years) got married this weekend to lawyer Scott Sveslosky in Hawaii. In front of 25 people, at 6:30 am, McKellar walked down the aisle wearing a mermaid dress by Alfred Angelo, the bridal gown maker who’s been designing Frozen-inspired dresses for Disney.
It’s the second marriage for both bride and groom. Each has a son from those previous marriages. The two boys participated in the sunrise ceremony. McKellar told People magazine: “We also performed a sand ceremony where the four of us poured different colored sand into a vase which we will keep at home.” McKellar is clearly connected with the ocean. Just this week she bought a mermaid costume (see photo).
