Actress Mayim Bialik who plays Amy Farrah Fowler on the TV show Big Bang Theory announced on social media that actress Carol Ann Susi, who provided the voice of Mrs. Wolowitz on the show, died. Susi, 62, had a brief battle with cancer, reported Variety. Among Susi’s other TV appearances were “Seinfeld,” “Murphy Brown,” “Cheers,” “Doogie Howser, M.D.,” “Mad About You,” “Just Shoot Me,” and “Six Feet Under.”
Big Bang Theory fans appreciated Bialik’s posting as “nothing is posted on the official fan page & that’s just wrong!” wrote Sue Brammerlo Dirker. After news of Susi’s death, the official BBT Facebook page posted a 20% coupon for Big Bang Theory pajamas–even though fans are discussing the loss of Susi in the comments.
