Actress Amy Adams, star of Tim Burton’s upcoming film Big Eyes, is on the cover of Vogue’s December 2014 issue. In the accompanying article, Adams talks about struggling to make it in Hollywood. Hey, it wasn’t that long ago.
Since then, the 40-year-old actress has been nominated for five Academy Awards (American Hustle, Doubt, The Fighter, Junebug, The Master), got engaged to her daughter’s father, Darren de Gallo, and is, well, looking gorgeous on the cover of Vogue. So what is she worried about? “It feels like I worry about everything—mothering, relationship.” And then she started talking to herself, “you need to appreciate your life, Amy,” she said. She needs to constantly remind herself to “just live and love.” She said, “I think that’s what I took away from my turning-40 meltdown.”
