Eventzy, which 14-year-old Jordan Casey introduced last week in Dublin, will allow people to manage events. The company will launch next year and will offer tools–an app and website–for both hosts and attendees at events. You can set up an event and even print your own tickets, features available on competitors like Eventbrite.
Casey has already created Teachware–software for teachers–which the Irish Times reports has more than 150 teachers are using daily. At 14, Casey was a natural to act on insights he gleaned from education. He’ll probably have to start going to more events, in order to bring the same savvy to the new venture. Casey’s first company–Casey Games, established when he was 13–was perfectly grounded in the modern kid experience: Casey Games focused on video games. VentureBeat featured Casey–his teeth in braces– last year.
