This weekend in New Orleans, Candice Accola of The Vampire Diaries married The Fray’s guitarist Joe King. Accola’s co-star Ian Somerhalder, who’s from New Orleans, couldn’t make it but he sent a message: “Candace and Joe – my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you. From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit!” he wrote via Instagram. Somerhalder is shooting in Atlanta.
Candice Accola and Joe King met at a Super Bowl event in February 2011. The Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-25, but neither of them probably noticed.
