Tyler Perry’s popular franchise character, Madea, is the star of her own animated film, Madea’s Tough Love. It will come to Digital HD January 13 and VOD January 20, 2015. The DVD will include a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film. Madea’s Tough Love is rated PG for Madea’s classic “rude humor.” Oh, Madea!
In the trailer, Madea gets herself into another outrageous situation (she disrupts the city on a skateboard!) and is sentenced to community service. Lionsgate describes Madea’s Tough Love: “After a hilarious run-in with the law, Madea is sentenced to community service. Determined to do good for the ’hood, Madea enlists Aunt Bam and Uncle Joe to try and save the Moms Mabley Youth Center from being shut down.
