Dale Wentworth, 55, is the father in the father/daughter team on the 29th season of the reality TV competition Survivor San Juan Sur, Blood Vs. Water. His daughter Kelley Wentworth, 28, worries about Dale’s social skills, or lack thereof. Dale is a farmer and doesn’t really talk to many people. Kelley explains: “My dad is a social outcast, and he’s used to doing things his own way…I don’t want him to drag me down.” Ouch.
Survivor host Jeff Probst summarizes the Wentworth relationship well: “You have a father/daughter and the father loves the daughter, but the daughter looks at the dad as a liability.” The next episode of Survivor San Juan Sur, Blood Vs. Water airs Wednesday, October 1, 8/7c on CBS.
