The Braxton sisters –Toni, Tamar, Traci, Towanda and Trina – are struggling on Braxton Family Values. They’re trying to work on a collaborative gospel album but can’t agree on a number of things including the lyrics! Although it’s usually Tamar and Towanda who are yelling at each other over petty things, this time it’s Toni and Trina who fight over the music. Toni says an inspirational song should say “on our knees.”
Later in the episode “Dares and Distractions,” the Braxton Family gets distracted when their brother Michael comes for a surprise visit. (Trina’s husband Gabe shows up, too.) And then right when you think they’ll never talk to each other again, they throw a pajama party. Clearly the sisters don’t watch that other reality show, Real Housewives of Atlanta — if they did they would know that adult pajamas party aren’t a good idea. Things got physical at NeNe’s pj party in Atlanta. (It was the most-watched hour in the series’ history.) Let’s hope the Braxton sisters keep things a little classier. The new episode of Braxton Family Values airs September 18 at 9ET on WE.
