Tim Duncan is getting the royal comic treatment. Duncan is known among fans of Marvel’s The Punisher as a fellow traveler. (He once wore a knee brace with The Punisher on it.) Now in a cool mashup between comics, basketball and ride pimping, Duncan will appear as himself in a new special edition of the The Punisher. Not only that, Blackjack Speed Shop, a San Antonio based automotive customization shop, will be teaming with Duncan to build a car exactly like the one that appears in The Punisher!
Black Jack made the announcement on its Facebook page: “Thank You to our Friends at Heroes and Fantasies, Marvel Comics and Gunn Automotive group. We are proud to announce a very special release of The Punisher featuring TD!!! Tim and BlackJack will also be building a replica of the car featured in the comic!” When the car is complete it will be auctioned off with proceeds going to a San Antonio Charity.
