Transformers star Shia LaBeouf pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct this week. (He stood up in the middle of a performance of Cabaret at Studio 54 and yelled at the performers.) While he’s been receiving treatment for alcohol addiction, which was apparently to blame for the outburst, LaBeouf’s girlfriend, actress Mia Goth, has stood by his side. The couple met on the set of the film Nymphomaniac, Vol. II.
While LaBeouf works on his personal issues and begins to promote his latest film, Fury, the WWII drama with Brad Pitt (coming out in October 2014), Goth is wrapping up her latest film (in 3D!), Everest. It’s based on several books about the 1996 Mt. Everest climbing expedition which was devastated by a severe snowstorm, as most famously depicted in Jon Krakauer’s “Into Thin Air.” It’s a big cast of stars including Keira Knightley, Robin Wright, Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, Sam Worthington, and Emily Watson. Krakauer will be played by Michael Kelly of House of Cards. Everest is set for a September 2015 release.
