Actress Mayim Bialik (Candid Camera, The Big Bang Theory, Blossom) has a lot of opinions, particularly when it comes to motherhood and anything related to raising her children. On her popular blog, Bialik recently voiced her dislike of Disney’s ubiquitous film Frozen. (Bialik doesn’t approve of the female characters who are “painted as dolls” and what she considers “male bashing” in the animated film.)
Bialik’s opinion got into the news, and The View’s host Rosie O’Donnell was quick to defend Frozen on air this week. Rosie said, “I feel that Frozen is the best Disney movie ever made.” (One can hear Bialik snickering at that comment.) Rosie said she’s seen it 250 times and she loves it “like the rest of America.” Is she calling Bialik un-American? After Rosie’s diatribe on Frozen, everyone in the studio audience received a Frozen DVD. The View is broadcast on ABC, the broadcast television network owned by Disney.
