Rumors are flying about Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks divorcing her husband Apollo Nida, now that he’s been sentenced to eight years in a federal prison for fraud. Attuned RHOA fans saw signs of marital trouble from the beginning. When Parks made her debut on the show in Season 3, she and Nida argued all the time about how to raise their first child. Then Parks decided they should open their own funeral parlor. Nida said he wanted nothing to do with it. And then there was the sexual tension that arose between the married couple and fellow cast member (she’s not a housewife, she seems forever single), Gone With The Wind Fabulous Kenya Moore.
Parks has already separated herself from Nida. She made a clear statement by not showing up for his sentence hearing. Parks has got a lot on her plate now, with two kids, and a $2 million restitution penalty that her husband must pay. And rumor has it her “Donkey Booty” exercise videos with Nida (PHINE BODY By Phaedra and Apollo), didn’t do as well as Moore’s Booty Boot Camp. The enterprising Parks might try teaming up with Nida just one more time to make the best of a bad situation–they could film “Prison Yard.” Now that sounds like a tough workout.
