Two members of the megahit boy band One Direction, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan, have taken to social media to share their excitement about their forthcoming, fourth studio album (and presumably calm the nerves of fans along the way). Zayn posted what looks like the album cover for “Four” on Instagram announcing it will be released November 17. Niall wrote enthusiastically, “I think it’s going to be a little bit more edgy” than their three other albums — Up All Night, Take Me Home, and Midnight Memories.
1D producer Simon Cowell of X Factor fame is expectedly excited about the band’s new material, too. Although not too long ago, Cowell was suggesting that One Direction “only has about two albums left before the group implodes.” But before the implosion, Cowell is producing a One Direction concert film, One Direction: Where We Are – The Concert Film, which will be released October 11 and run for one weekend only. Don’t worry, the DVD will be released on December 1.
