Gossip is swirling around singing superstar diva Mariah Carey and her relationship with filmmaker friend Brett Ratner. They’ve been seen together a lot since Carey’s separation from husband Nick Cannon (America’s Got Talent). Mariah looked very happy to be Ratner’s escort at the premiere of his blockbuster film, Hercules.
In addition to Hercules, Ratner is known for directing the Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker Rush Hour movies, and Horrible Bosses (and its upcoming sequel). He’s also directed some memorable commercials (remember when Steve Wynn stood on top of Wynn Las Vegas in that Super Bowl ad?) and videos including Mariah Carey’s I Still Believe, Thank God I Found You, We Belong Together and Touch My Body. Maybe Mariah’s been trying to tell him something all these years? Or maybe Mariah is just buttering up Ratner because she wants her own TV show. Ratner just launched a TV production company called RatPac, an homage to Frank Sinatra and friends. Ratner has even taken over Old Blue Eyes’ former Hollywood office on the Warner Bros lot.
