When not playing Detective Danny Reagan on the CBS hit drama Blue Bloods, Donnie Wahlberg has been working on a film with his new bride, radio host Jenny McCarthy. They both reportedly have roles in the upcoming spy comedy Tooken, a spoof on the popular Liam Neeson Taken franchise. Donny is cast as a CIA Agent and Jenny as a character named Commercial Star.
And you thought Mark was the only comedian in the Wahlberg family. The humor of Tooken is supposed to be right up there with Ted. Instead of a perverted talking teddy bear, a small white pooch is the object of everyone’s attention in Tooken. “I don’t know who you are but if you don’t let my dog go I will find you. I will neuter you” is the film’s tagline. It’s got a Naked Gun kind of action/revenge drama to it. To be released in 2015. P.S. Liam Neeson just landed a role in Ted 2!
