The 1999 adventure video game, Superman: The New Adventures (or Superman 65), is considered one of the worst video games of all time. In it, Superman must fly through a fog of Kryptonite in Lex Luthor’s virtual Metropolis in order to save his friends. Kryptonite is, of course, meant to diminish Superman’s abilities but critics like Matt Casamassina at IGN, say it was “a technique used to mask the game’s poor draw distance.” You just don’t treat Superman like this.
Other major complaints: horrible graphics, sluggish gameplay, unresponsive controls. Due to its overwhelming number of bugs, Paul Ritchey of Continueshow has crowned Superman 65: “The Most Broken Video Game.”
