‘Blurred Lines’ singer Robin Thicke and his estranged wife Paula Patton put their Los Angeles house up for sale ($2.985 million). While potential buyers come to take a look at the property, Thicke will be touring in Indiana and Illinois. On August 15, he’ll perform at the Horseshoe Hammond Casino’s The Venue, just outside of Chicago. And he’ll be the main attraction at the Illinois State Fair on August 17, the final day of the 11-day annual event. The fair is known for its annual butter cow, a life-size cow made of butter, and its historic role in the popularization of the corn dog (circa 1946).
It’s been a tough year for Thicke after the rise and fall of his hit ‘Blurred Lines’, and the failure of both his ‘Paula’ album and his real-life marriage to Paula. He also made his acting debut in Making the Rules, starring Jaime Pressly (My Name Is Earl). Pressly plays Abby, an unhappily married woman who has an affair with ex-boyfriend Shaun, played by Thicke. The film went straight-to-video.
