Actress Nina Dobrev (Degrassi: The Next Generation) went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote her forthcoming films, The Vampire Diaries and Let’s Be Cops. Fallon congratulated her and told her “You’re living the ‘year of Yes.’” She agreed, and added “in moderation.”
Dobrev retold the story about getting badly bitten by a monkey in Bali recently. Fallon had a photo of Dobre wearing an Ace Bandage. Dobrev said “I [still] have no feeling in my thumb I can move it, obviously, but I have no feeling in it.” After the commercial break, Fallon and Dobrev played Giant Beer Pong. She said Yes, of course. It’s too bad Fallon didn’t inquire about Dobrev’s next film, a horror/comedy, The Final Girls. Dobrev’s character gets literally sucked into a 1980s horror movie and must fight off the manical killer of the movie in order to escape the movie. Director Todd Strauss-Schulson (A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas) describes it as “Back to the Future meets Friday the 13th.”
