Batman’s watery friend, Aquaman, will be played by Jason Momoa after all. The Game Of Thrones and Conan the Barbarian star has been confirmed as a part of Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (that title really is clumsy, isn’t it?). Momoa will then reprise the role in his own watery adventure movie, before reuniting with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and a few other superheroes in a Justice League movie.
Other cast members include Jesse Eisenberg as villain Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as plucky reporter Lois Lane, Lawrence Fishburne as newspaper editor Perry White, and Jeremy Irons as Bruce Wayne’s valet Alfred. Snyder’s film, to be released in 2016, will be the first of several films featuring DC Comics characters that Warner Bros. will make in an attempt to win over some of the audience that has slavishly thrown dollars at Marvel Studios in the last few years.
