Bill Murray will star in the film Rock the Kasbah. The comedic actor will play a washed-up rock manager who takes his one and only client on a USO tour of Afghanistan. Craziness ensues – he finds himself penniless, without his passport and forgotten. While trying to figure a way out, he finds a path to success when he meets a talented young girl who can really sing.
Variety reports that the cast will include: Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride and Scott Caan. Barry Levinson will direct. Script by Murray’s friend Mitch Glazer from Scrooged and Lost in Translation.
