Ron Howard’s first documentary film is about Jay Z’s music festival, Made in America. It’ll hit theaters July 22. Howard’s second documentary, yet to be titled, will be about the Beatles. The Oscar-winning director will have access to all archival footage of the Beatles on tour (thanks to the Beatles’ company, Apple Corps, which is run by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison), but he also hopes to crowd-source never been seen audio and video from fans.
Members of One Voice One World, a small company that’s been soliciting concert films from fans, will be part of the production team. Fans are encouraged to submit Beatles footage or memorabilia here.
