Game of Thrones hired several new actors for Season 5 including a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, actor Jonathan Pryce. Pryce will play GoT’s pious High Sparrow. Other new male actors on the set include Alexander Siddig (Captain Bashir of Star Trek Deep Space Nine) who will play Doran Martell, the ruling lord of Dorne. And Enzo Cilenti (Mick on the TV series Prisoners Wives) who will play the wealthy slave trader Yezzan.
Three female actors have been hired to play Oberyn’s daughters, otherwise known as the Sand Snakes. That adorable girl from the film Whale Rider, who’s now 24 years old, Oscar nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes will play Obara, Oberyn’s eldest daughter. Jessica Henwick (of the BBC TV series Silk) will play Nym who’s “deadly with a whip” and Italian actress Rosabell Laurenti Sellers will be Tyene.
