NBC’s America’s Got Talent is launching a voting box on Google. After tonight’s show, fans can vote for the acts they want to save from being sent home. Each fan can vote up to 10 times. “The act with the most saves from fans at the end of each night will be able to continue in the competition,” says the press release. And for those without a Google account, you can still use traditional voting methods via phone, NBC.com, and Facebook.
In the spring, AGT judges were given their own “golden buzzer” to save their favorite acts. Judge Howie Mandel used it to keep brother comedy duo Emmanuel and Phillip Hudson from being sent home. It was a nice gesture but you won’t see them tonight. You can, however, watch them on MTV2 every Tuesday at 11pm, or anytime on YouTube.
