The Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) announced its plan for a 2015 “Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour.” It will be the band’s first headlining tour in North America. They’ve been winning teenage hearts and learning a lot about the business while traveling on tour with that other boy band, One Direction. 5SOS will open again for 1D this summer during the “Where We Are World Tour.” Both groups are managed by Modest Management, whose founder Richard Griffiths used to manage AC/DC.
The 5SOS 30-city tour will “rock out” first at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, July 17, 2015. Tickets will go on sale August 9, 2014. So if you’re the type to plan things eleven months in advance, you’re in luck. But if you’re a parent be careful–eleven months in the life of a teenage girl can see any number of previous obsessions casually tossed out the window.
