Q: You’ve covered and opined on so much malfeasance in world–looking daily at a parade of injustice and atrocity from September 11 to North Korea to the current crisis in Kiev. It would seem, to some, an unusual calling for a man trained in theology (Union Theological Seminary, 1976). How has your theological training informed what you do?
