Calling all futurists or those who care about the future! Tonight an enormously thought-provoking dialogue — “The Future of the Future” — is taking place in NYC between Daniel Pinchbeck and Jim Clark. Daniel Pinchbeck is the best-selling author of culturally influential books like “Breaking Open the Head: A Psychedelic Journey into the Heart of Contemporary Shamanism,” and is soon to publish the thus-far titled “Metamorphosis: Toward a New Operating System for Planetary Culture.” Jim Clark is founder and chairman of World Technology Network (best known for their annual World Technology Awards in association with TIME, Fortune, CNN) and author of the upcoming book “Manifesto for a New Civilization.”
Together Pinchbeck and Clark will discuss key issues facing our world today including the likely trajectory of new technologies, the extent of the possible changes coming to civilization, and the opportunities to co-create a better world.
