The artwork of Ben Nixon, his brother John Nixon and stepsister Page Davis are on view at their hometown museum, the Spartanburg Art Museum in South Carolina. Ben is a photographer (black-and-white landscapes), John is a collage artist (he rearranges medical drawings to create images of flowers), while Page paints in acrylics and draws. All of the siblings are the children of George Nixon, owner of Allegra Printing, a long-standing commercial printing company in Spartanburg.
“To show this collection for the first time in my hometown is real treat. But to have the additional privilege of showing my own work and the work of my brother and sister is outstanding,” said Ben Nixon.
