In the TV movie Indiscretion, Veronica Simon is a married woman (a politician’s wife) who has an affair with a younger man named Victor (Christopher Backus). But it’s not just a one-night stand, according to Victor. The troubled sculptor becomes obsessed with Veronica (a psychiatrist who should have known better) and threatens to destroy her life, and her family.

Veronica is portrayed by Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino. She’s known for her TV roles on Falling Skies (Sara), Stalker (Vicki Gregg), Intruders (Amy Whelan), Psych (Betsy Brannigan), and in the mini-series Human Trafficking. Sorvino is also recognized for her roles in the films The Great Gatsby (Daisy Buchanan), Summer of Sam (Dionna), Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (Romy), and the film that won her an Oscar, Woody Allen’s Mighty Aphrodite (Linda Ash), among others. Indiscretion will premiere on Lifetime on Saturday, July 23 at 8pm.
