In the Hallmark Channel TV movie Once Upon A Holiday, a real-life royal princess comes to a small American town. She’s running away from her official obligations – just like Audrey Hepburn in the classic movie Roman Holiday with Gregory Peck. During “Katie’s” days living like “the other half” — or in today’s terms, the 99 percent — she meets and falls in love with a good guy named Jack (Paul Campbell) who doesn’t know her real identity. Oh, and it’s Christmas time.
[Who Is Lawyer George In ‘Once Upon A Holiday’ on Hallmark?]
Katie is portrayed by Briana Evigan. The 29-year-old actress is best known for her roles in From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series (Sonja) with Wilmer Valderrama, and in the Step Up movies (Andie). Evigan also appeared in the horror films Paranormal Island (Ivy) and Sorority Row (Cassidy). P.S. That’s her real father, Greg Evigan, playing her lawyer George in Once Upon a Holiday, which premieres on the Hallmark Channel on November 25 at 8pm.
