U.S. Senator Ted Cruz mentioned Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Pat Benatar while talking on a conservative talk show. He said: “I don’t think Senate Democrats, if you had video of Joe Biden murdering children dressed as the devil under a full moon while singing Pat Benatar, they still wouldn’t vote to convict.” The host of the show, Joe Pagliarulo, laughed and replied: “That’s nuts.”

Benatar and her husband and musical partner of 40 years, Neil Giraldo, replied to Cruz’s comment with two words, “nice try.”
When not being pulled into political chatter, Benatar and Giraldo spend time with their family. They are parents to two daughters, Haley Giraldo (mother of 3) and Hana Giraldo, who is a bikini and lingerie model.

Her fans are going wild over the “hot and sexy” poses. One fan replied: “omg u look just like her,” meaning her mother, Pat Benatar. Hana replied: “lol I hear it all the time.”
