Hollywood star Kerry Washington made her acting debut in a 1994 ABC Afterschool Special but she’s best known for her TV role as D.C. publicist Olivia Pope in the long-running political drama series Scandal from 2012 to 2018. Even though the show ended five years ago, Washington still celebrates the birth of Scandal.
On its 11th anniversary, Washington shared the photo series above and captioned it: “11 years 😱 Happy #Scandal Anniversary ❤️ Love looking back at all these #ScandalFamily Portraits. Which one is your fave????”
Fans are showering Washington with compliments and revealing their faves (“nothing beats the suits and gowns photo”) while others thought at first Washington was making a big announcement with the photos. As one replied: “Now Ms Washington you know not to give me high hopes. I see this, I instantly think you’re announcing that scandal is back, I read the caption and my heart breaks.”
