Stand-up comedian-turned-Hollywood movie star Tim Allen was born Tim Allen Dick. He’s known for his TV shows Last Man Standing and Home Improvement, and for film franchises including Toy Story and The Santa Clause.
Tim Allen is reprising his dual role Scott Calvin aka Santa Clause for the new Disney+ series The Santa Clauses. Allen’s real-life daughter, 13-year-old Elizabeth Allen-Dick, is making her acting debut on the series, playing daughter, Sandra. See cast photo above.
In the GMA video above, Tim Allen (with Elizabeth by his side) talks about being on the set together. When he comes onto the set, dressed and in character as Santa Claus, Tim Allen says, “Everyone gets really quiet” and he “even impressed my kid.”
The Santa Clauses will be available for streaming on Disney+ on November 16, 2022.
